What is TheraPlatform?

TheraPlatform is a secure and HIPAA compliant practice management EMR/EHR with teletherapy for private practice in the therapy and mental health space. Our software includes scheduling, documenting, client portal, billing, insurance and more.

Is there additional cost for teletherapy?

No,there is no extra fee for teletherapy. Our video conferencing is built into the platform and can be used as needed.

How does a free trial work?

We offer a free 30-day trial with access to the plan of your choice. Credit cards are not required to get started. During your free trial you will have access to support and can request training.

Why do I need a phone number to start a free trial?

We ask for your number for security reasons. Because we offer bank- level security, phone numbers are used to text security codes to activate your free trial.

Will information I enter during a free trial carry over to my paid subscription?

Yes, all your information will carry over to your paid account.

How much does TheraPlatform cost and what is your cancellation policy?

We offer different plans and pricing options. Our plans start at $39 per month. Please refer to our pricing table above. You can cancel any time by logging in to our main website and clicking on “Cancel".

Are there set-up fees?

No.

Do you offer a demo?

Yes, we offer both recorded and live demos. The recorded demo will be available to you on your platform, under Tutorials. You can request a live demo, by clicking on Contact (found on the top of this page).

Is TheraPlatform HIPAA compliant?

Yes, TheraPlatform complies with physical, administrative, and technical HIPAA regulations and with the HIPAA Security Rule. We have policies and procedures in place to maintain compliance and conduct an annual risk assessment to ensure that our platform continues to meet HIPAA standards. Additionally, our staff is trained on HIPAA standards.

Does TheraPlatform provide business associate agreement?

We provide and sign a business associate agreement (BAA).

Do you offer a branded portal or white label solution, and how much does it cost?

A white label, aka a branded portal, allows you to upload your company’s logo and name to our platform. Upon login , your company’s name and logo appear to you and your clients instead of Theraplatform. A message will appear at the bottom of the page, however, indicating “Powered by TheraPlatform.” We do not charge any set-up fee for a white label, and it is available in all Plans.

Do I have to sign a yearly contract to use TheraPlatform?

No, you do not need to sign any contract with us.

Can I add staff members (e.g. schedulers, billers) and are there additional fees for adding staff?

You can add as many staff members as you wish. There are NO additional fees for staff.

How many clinicians (e.g. therapists) can I add?

Once you become a paid member, you can add as many therapists as you wish. We offer discounted prices for additional therapists. Please refer to the pricing table above.

Is it easy to switch to TheraPlatform from other software?

Yes, it is easy to switch to TheraPlatform. Contact us at any time to learn how to switch from another platform.

Does TheraPlatform offer scheduling with reminders?

Yes, we offer scheduling with both email and text reminders.

Do you offer a client portal and is there an extra charge for it?

Yes, all of our plans come with a client portal. Our client portal can be customized withe NO extra fees.

Do you offer a website widget that would allow my new and existing clients to schedule an appointment with me right on my website?

Yes, we do!

Do you offer secure chat and messaging?

Yes, we offer both secure chat and messaging.

Do you offer credit card processing and can I continue using my own credit card processing company?

Yes, we do. We have integrated with Stripe. If you prefer to use your own credit card processing company, you are welcome to do so outside TheraPlatform. You will still be able to post payments on TheraPlatform even if you choose to go with a different credit card processing company. Most of our clients take advantage of Stripe integration because it helps them streamline their billing.

Do you offer automated billing?

Yes, you can automate any billing process on our platform. You can automate invoices, superbills and claims. Automation is optional but highly recommended. If you prefer to bill manually, you can.

Do you offer invoicing and superbills?

Yes, our platform offers both invoicing and superbill. You can also set up automated payment reminders and turn auto-invoice on.

Does TheraPlatform offer e-sign?

Yes. You and your clinicians can sign any notes. You can even request signatures on consent, intake forms, treatment plans, therapy notes and any other form that you build from your clients.

Can I send intake and consent forms to my clients and will they be able to fill them out?

Yes, you can send intake and consent forms in TheraPlatform and your clients will be able to complete them.Once submitted, you will receive a notification and all forms will be automatically saved in the client's chart.

Can I document in TheraPlatform?

Yes, you can document assessment and treatment notes, progress notes, etc., on our platform.

Do you offer any note templates and can I build my own ?

Yes, we offer note templates. You can use our note templates from the library with the ability to modify our templates or build templates from scratch using our note template builder.

Does TheraPlatform offer Wiley Treatment Planners?

Yes, we offer Wiley Treatment Planners for an additional fee of $15 per provider per month.

Can I submit claims on TheraPlatform and what is the cost?

Yes, some of our plans offer claim submission. We have integrated with the largest clearing house in the United States and claims can be submitted through our platform. We also validate each claim and check for common human errors before submitting claims, reducing the number of rejected claims and saving you money. The price per claim is $0.25 and we offer discounts for multiple claims.

Do you offer EOB and ERA?

Yes, we do (given that the health insurance you contract with, has this option). You can enroll for EOB/ERA on our platform.

What does your teletherapy module offer?

Our built-in video conferencing includes secure and HIPAA compliant video and some plans offer a built-in white board, in- session video play, screen sharing (with access control), and resource sharing. The Pro Plus plan also offers apps and games. All plans support group therapy and have in-session chat.

Can I video-record on TheraPlatform to promote my business?

You will need our written permission, and we may or may not grant you one. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions and require our permission.

What is the best way to learn how to use TheraPlatform?

Our platform is user friendly, and we have a library of training videos. We also offer one-on-one training.

Do you offer tech support?

Yes, we have amazing tech support.
